Amanda Murray
Amanda Murray was born and raised in Houlton, Maine. She attended USM and obtained her BA in education with a minor fine arts. Amanda taught third grade for eleven years while she worked on her Masters in instructional leadership, coached basketball and soccer in the Gorham School District, and went on to be an assistant coach for the USM women’s soccer team for several years. Amanda is now a stay-at-home mom with four children: Mia (11), Max (9), Ian (7), and Sam (3 1/2). She is involved in PTA and coaching the children’s various teams, and is a board member with Kennebunk Hoops. Amanda enjoys traveling with her husband Dean Murray and their children, and volunteering at Consolidated School. She is an avid Celtics and Red Sox fan.
