James Read lives in Cape Porpoise and owns Benchmark Multimedia, a video production and strategic marketing company, located in Biddeford. Originally from England, James moved to Maine with his wife Rebecca in 1997. After working in the finance industry in London, James attended UNE where he received a degree in Business Management. They have two children, Isabel and Harry, who are currently attending Kennebunkport Consolidated School. James is an avid vinyl record collector, aspiring DJ and long-time soccer player. He is also a committed community member of the Kennebunkport Rotary and Scarborough Fish & Game Trap Committee.
