3D Printer Purchases

School: Kennebunk High School Amount: $5,059.97.00 Names of Applicants: Tom Post, AJ Carp and Aaron Germana, KHS STEM teachers This grant will allow the purchase of two (2) additional MakerBot Replicator Desktop 3D Printers. The original EFKA grant for a 3D printer at KHS is credited with creating a high level of interest and learning. It has led to the creation of the new class AutoCAD 3D Print, coupled with additional classes (Engineering, Robotics, Drafting and Pre-Engineering) all finding a use for this technology, and a need for the additional printers.
