Speedometry ‘Hot Wheels’ play-based lessons use the 5E Model (Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate and Evaluate). The lessons develop a conceptual understanding of potential and kinetic energy, measurement, how to represent data with charts, and how to present findings from research projects.
