MSK Tesla Waffles Lego Robotics Team

School:  Middle School of the Kennebunks  Date:  May 2015  Amount:  $2,130  As a result of their First Place performance at the Maine FIRST LEGO League Championship, Team Tesla Waffles has earned an invitation to the North American Open Championship at LEGOLAND in Carlsbad (San Diego), California. The Championship takes place May 15-17, 2015. During the formal part of the 3-day Championship, the team will participate in a robot competition, present their research project on an innovative solution, and perform a Teamwork exercise. During the un-programmed part of the Championship, the team will participate in activities with other LEGO Robotics teams from North America and other parts of the world, attend technology demonstrations, learn about career opportunities, and visit LEGOLAND amusement park and aquarium.
